Acculis MTA system
Microsulis' Acculis Microwave Tissue Ablation (MTA) system has been in distribution since 2008 and is now being used in more than 80 hospitals and medical centres worldwide. The Acculis system operates at 2.45GHz and is the most powerful device on the market when compared to Radio Frequency Ablation (RFA) devices and low power 915MHz microwave systems.

The Acculis MTA System includes:
Sulis VpMTA generator - this unit allows the user to select the correct control parameters for each of our needle-like applicators. It combines the electrical power source, microwave generator and a simple touch screen user interface.
Accu5i MTA applicator - this uncooled 5.6mm shafted disposable microwave needle operates at 2.45GHz. It creates a near spherical coagulation of up to 6.8cm in eight minutes at maximum power. It is available in 17cm and 33cm lengths.
Accu2i pMTA applicator - this cooled 1.8mm shafted disposable microwave needle operating at 2.45GHz. It creates a near spherical coagulation of up to 5.6cm in six minutes at maximum power. It is available in 14cm, 19cm and 29cm lengths.
Acculis MTA temperature probes - these bespoke 18 gauge thermistors are used to monitor tissue temperatures of critical locations during coagulations.
Acculis LCS (Local Control Station) - this bespoke coolant management and control interface, designed to feed microwave power and coolant to the pMTA family of cooled applicators. It controls the temperature of the applicator shaft to minimise the risk of skin burns.
Acculis trolley - this medical grade component trolley supports the Sulis VpMTA generator and provides an articulated arm which allows the Acculis LCS to be positioned on the edge of the sterile field. This facilitates device presentation to the user and patient, minimising cable management requirements.
