Microsulis Medical is a specialist medical device company with market leading, game changing solutions in microwave ablation. Our products deliver significant technological and clinical advances in minimally invasive, soft tissue ablation to physicians and patients. The company was formed more than 15 years ago following research collaboration between Chemring and the University of Bath.

We focused our efforts to promote our breakthrough microwave tumour ablation product, the Acculis Microwave Tissue Ablation (MTA) system, which includes a range of products used for the coagulation of soft tissue.

The system's flag-ship product, the Accu2i pMTA applicator for percutaneous use, is the most powerful soft tissue ablation device available, combining extreme ease of use with the widest range of clinical applications. The Accu2i pMTA is a single high power, high frequency 2.45GHz saline-cooled microwave needle that is between three to 10 times faster than other devices. It can treat tissue masses up to 5.5cm in size in just six minutes. This device was CE-marked in February 2010 and FDA 510(k) cleared in August 2010.

The Acculis system is in commercial use in more than 80 institutions in the UK, Europe, USA, Canada and Asia.
